RETURNS POLICY

This Returns Policy applies to both in store and online purchases made from The Elephant Room (ABN 50 108 281 152)

PLEASE NOTE: We do not refund if you change your mind, for incorrect choice or over ordered products.

We are unable to offer a refun if a sample was not ordered and the item you have purchase does not suit the purpose intended.

As per the the Office of Fair Trading a refund wil be given or replacement goods supplied if the items purchased:

- had a fault you did not know when you bought it

- was not he same as the seller or advertisement described

- does not do the job you were lead to believe it would

- does not match the sample you ordered of the same item

FABRIC & WALLPAPER

Please do not rely soley on the image shown on your computer monitor to select colours for your fabric and wallpapers. Every computer is different, which means they will all display colours differently. We have a large instore library of fabrics and wallpapers for you to choose from - a refund cannot be offered for incorrect colour choice. Please ensure what you are ordering is exactly what you require and expect, BEFORE placing your order.

As your chosen fabric or wallpaper is sold by dyelot and mostly bought into Australia especailly for your order - a refund is not available if you order too much wallpaper.

If you order too little wallpaper and fabric - and need to order more to complete your project, a refund cannot be given if you find there is no more product available in the dyelot of  you first order.

We are happy to check measurements or calculate quantites required to ensure you order the correct quantites, with the provision of accurate measurements.

CUSTOM MADE ITEMS

As these items have been made especially for you, no refund is available. Please ensure the item you are ordering is exactly what you require before any payment is made. 

DAMAGED GOODS

In the unlikely event you receive a faulty, incorrect or damaged product, please email hello@theelephantroom.com.au within 24 hours of receiving your parcel. Please include your full contact details and original invoice number as well as photos of the item you wish to return. Once we advise that a purchase may be returned we will issue you with a return authorisation number. 

Please choose your purchase carefully as The Elephant Room does not accept returns on sale items or for change of mind. 

LARGE DELIVERIES

Please ensure, prior to order that the item you have ordered, will fit through doorways, up stairs or inside lifts - to ensure delivery to your chosen address is possible. If you are unsure on this - please contact the store on 07 5309 6795 PRIOR to ordering to discuss further.

HOW TO RETURN

Items being returned must be in the original condition they were sent. Returns must be received within 7 days from confirmation of the returns approval.

Refunds will be credited to the original method of payment.

Once approval has been received from The Elephant Room, please pack up the goods using the original packaging and return to the below address, including the original tax invoice in the box. We recommend using Registered Post or trackable courier as The Elephant Room takes no responsibility for returned items lost in transit.

Once the product has been returned we will assess the goods and either replace or issue a full refund. The cost of returning the goods will also be refunded if the product is deemed faulty.
